The Moon Palikir is a 35 meter long boat which was carefully designed and decorated to give you all the comfort you need on a surf trip.
With simple and elegant finishing touches, it includes six air conditioned cabins, an interior common area where meals can be served under, equipped with a plasma TV, DVD and several relaxation areas on deck.
The crew have plenty of experience and are closely supervised by one of the boat’s owners, in order to secure good service as well as carefully prepared and varied food, one this boat’s strong points.
The Moon Palikir is equipped with two powerful engines and is considered one of the fastest boats on the archipelago. It also has a speedboat for transferring guests to the more distant peaks, and a support dinghy.

Surfing tourism tax – Regional law n. 8 of 2015, effective as of August 1st 2016, established that foreign, non-resident surfers must pay a surfing tourism tax of IDR IDR 1.000.000,00 which gives you a surfing permit for a maximum period of two weeks on the Mentawai archipelago.
