The Bay Vista Hotel has 30 ample rooms with a simple but careful décor. There is 24h room service and free Wi-Fi in the public zones.
The rooms, with an ocean view or a land view, have private bathrooms, with showers and hot water, ceiling fans and air conditioning. The rooms with a sea view have a private balcony.

These rooms are more spacious and are furnished with a double bed and a single bed.
Baby Point is located at the far South of the bay and Main Point is just a 10 minute walk from the bay.
There are several surfing spots in the vicinity of Arugam Bay. A 20 minute tuk-tuk ride North you’ll find Whiskey Point, a good spot where beginners can try their luck. To the South there is Crocodile Rock and Peanut Farm, both of which are isolated beaches which can be reached by a 15 to 20 minute tuk-tuk ride plus a 15 to 20 minute walk. Further South still, 45 minutes by tuk-tuk, is the Okanda wave, a beautiful spot which emerges from the jungle, near the entrence to the National Kumana Park.
A very consistent right hander which breaks over mixed flat rock and sand bottom. Works with all tides but Westerly wind and South-easterly swell are the ideal conditions.
Crocodile Rock – A right hander which breaks over a sand bottom and works with all tides in a South-easterly swell.
Peanut Farm – A right hander which breaks over a sand bottom. Works well with a South-easterly swell.
Okanda – A right-hander peak which breaks over a sand bottom and works with an Easterly swell.
