THE FORTRESS

Located right in front of the beach, The Fortress Resort & Spa is an oasis of tranquillity where you can leave behind the real world worries. The resort itself is a mixture of Portuguese and Dutch influence, with old Sinhalese motifs, a throwback to the historic colonial days.

ACCOMMODATION

It has 53 luxury rooms, with all the commodities needed for absolute comfort, modern décor and contemporary furniture, made in Sri Lanka. All the rooms have satellite TV, DVD players, iPod station, mini-bar, hair-dryer, air conditioning and a digital safe.

Fortress

Spacious rooms and a meticulous décor, available all along the fortress wall, which means they don’t have an outside view. All of them have private patios or balcony.

Ocean

Located on the upper floor of the hotel, they offer a magnificent view over the resort gardens and the Indian Ocean. They include an interior living area and a veranda with table and chairs, plus a fantastic bathroom.

Beach

Similar to the Ocean rooms, but located on the ground floor and with direct access to the garden.
