Black Rock is a 5-minute water taxi ride from Bocas Town. It is the perfect place to start surfing; it has several schools and instructors.

Ideal spot to learn, with soft left and sand bottom. It is not very busy, but requires attention to the seabed and the boats, which can get very close to the beach.

It is one of the most iconic spots in Bocas, with consistent swell and five peaks. It has waves between 1 to 3 m, good for tubing, but requires care with the coral and stone bottom.
