Tiger Tail has a coral bottom with algae, so it requires care. It has good left and right. The ideal is to go with a local guide. It is a 5-minute water taxi ride from Bocas Town.

Sandy bottom beach, with left and right close to the shore and easy entry. Good for tubes, but with strong sea. It is close to Bocas Town and can be reached by bike or car.

10 min from Bocas Town, has left and right for intermediate and advanced surfers. It stands out for the crack pipes. There are classes, food and accommodation. Wear your own shoes.

15 min from Bocas Town, is a local spot with left in reef break. It has exposed reef and currents, so it is indicated only for experienced surfers, takes local guide.

Black Rock is a 5-minute water taxi ride from Bocas Town. It is the perfect place to start surfing; it has several schools and instructors.

Ideal spot to learn, with soft left and sand bottom. It is not very busy, but requires attention to the seabed and the boats, which can get very close to the beach.

It is one of the most iconic spots in Bocas, with consistent swell and five peaks. It has waves between 1 to 3 m, good for tubing, but requires care with the coral and stone bottom.

The most demanding waves in the area: large, fast and powerful straights, over deep reef. Only for experienced surfers. It is a 20-minute boat ride from Bocas Town, with no services on site.

Wizard is a more local and less touristy spot, with sand bottom and waves that vary with the tide. Good to learn, especially at low tide, but also pleasant for those who already have experience.

Red Frog is ideal for thrill-seekers, with fast left and right breaks near the beach. It is a short distance from the pier of Bastimentos and adapts to various levels of surfing.
