About
The Melaleuca and its sister ship, the Kaimana, renovated on 22/23, are part of the most experienced surf fleet on the Mentawai and Telos islands. They are led by Portuguese surfers who, for more than 20 years, have been exploring these archipelagos. The most famous face - Gonçalo Ruivo - dedicates himself exclusively to this profession, and has already lost count of the numerous surf trips he accompanied. What will you find? The waves of your life and, more importantly, for all levels of surfing. The motto is: Surf Without Crowd.

The renovated Melaleuca
Spacious, comfortable and stable, it has 6 cabins with air conditioning, 2 toilets, living and dining rooms, decks for meals and sun, 2 support boats and 8 crew.
Eat and cry for more
On board, all meals are included - Indonesian and Western dishes, without missing natural juices, pancakes, fresh fish in the oven and the coveted shrimp in the strawberry.
Surf para todos os níveis
Com mais de 70 picos à la carte, os nossos guias adaptam cada viagem ao teu nível. E com 2 lanchas de apoio, é possível surfar 2 ou 3 picos no mesmo dia, consoante o nível dos surfistas a bordo.
Surfar sem relógio
Nem sempre todos a bordo surfam ao mesmo ritmo. Aqui tens total flexibilidade de horários: surfas quando queres, durante o tempo que quiseres, desde o nascer até ao pôr do sol. Sem restrições.
Rotas de surf
Tens vários destinos à escolha: Mentawai, Telo, Nias/Hinako e Banyak, ou qualquer combinação destes. A escolha depende do grupo e das suas preferências, sempre com o aconselhamento dos nossos guias.

Accomodations
It serves as an outdoor seating and dining area with 360º views. Very spacious, with shaded areas and comfortable mattresses, it is the ideal place to relax, observe and photograph the surf, and enjoy the landscapes, with the taste of a fresh coconut or a well iced beer.
In addition to the Command Bridge, it has a spacious living room with 50" Smart TV connected to the internet, independent dining room, kitchen and 2 toilets with shower, cleaned several times a day.
It has 4 triple cabins with bunk beds and 2 double cabins with double bed. All cabins have air conditioning, fan, hatch, individual reading light and wardrobe, and are served with sheets, blankets, 2 pillows per bed and bath towels.

Support boats
Melaleuca has two support boats: a larger one, for up to 15 people, and a smaller one, for up to 3. Both perfect for getting to the best surfing and snorkeling spots, or exploring the paradise islands.
Homemade food
Recognized as one of the Mentawai boats with the best meals. Nothing is missing: from natural juices, omelettes and banana pancakes, to Indonesian dishes, fresh fish in the oven, shrimp in strawberries and banana cake. And yet, 30 beers per surfer!
Meals with 360º view
Breakfast, prepared before dawn, is served in the dining room. Lunches and dinners are served on the upper deck, “al fresco”, overlooking the surf, the stunning scenery, or the sunset.
Outdoor areas
On the upper deck, the relaxation and sunbathing area is spacious and inviting, with comfortable mattresses to enjoy the good times outdoors and appreciate the stunning views.
Snorkeling
Throughout the trip, there will be the possibility of snorkeling moments. On board, you will have at your disposal mask, tube and flippers, but if you prefer to use your equipment, you are free to bring it.
Fishing
Fishing in these Indian waters is an experience you won't want to miss. It can be done during the day, but also at night, in a traditional way. If you are lucky and have qualities, there will be fish for dinner.
Photographer on board
If you wish, for an additional fee, it is possible to have a photographer on board throughout the trip to record the best moments.
Starlink
The ship is equipped with Starlink, ensuring a fast and stable internet connection, even in the middle of the ocean and on the remote Mentawai Islands.
