The programs include flights with Etihad Airways in economy class, on the E fare. When the E fare is not available, supplements will be applied according to the availability of flights.

An air fare supplement will be applied to the prices presented in July and August.

Maldivian domestic flights: rules for hold baggage

Maximum dimensions allowed for carrying the surfboard bag: 215 x 60 x 25 cm (length x width x thickness);

In the 20 kg allowance, the passenger can carry 1 basement bag and 1 bag with up to 2 surfboards. If the permissible weight limit is exceeded, a fee of USD 3,11, plus local taxes, will be applied for each additional kg;

The number of surfboard bags on board each flight is limited, and your transportation is always subject to confirmation at check-in. Plank bags that are unable to board with passengers will be sent on the next available flight. On return, the surfboard bag can be sent on an earlier flight, to ensure that you arrive in Malé on time for check-in on the international flight;

Prior notification of the exact dimensions of the bag of plates to the airline is mandatory. Sending incorrect information will incur an additional fee of USD 100 plus local taxes (payable locally).

All programs presented include “Takeoff Surf” insurance against personal accidents and travel assistance, with capitals and coverage for accidents resulting from surfing.

This is a basic travel assistance insurance with coverage and assistance only abroad. However, for the type of trip and destinations, we recommend the “Takeoff Surf VIP” insurance (optional as a supplement), with higher amounts of assistance abroad, in addition to additional coverage in case of interruption of the trip.
