The first Takeoff-organized Surf Trip, exclusively for ladies, is now live! Destination? Sri Lanka, on the south coast, where you'll find the best waves to start or improve your surfing, with warm water, in safety, and with good vibes & lifestyle. And who better to accompany you than Takeoff's manager, Rita Santos, with extensive experience in tourism, passionate about local culture, and a surfer herself!
Insight Resort Ahangama
Located in the fishing village of Ahangama, right on the beach, in an area with several surf spots. Its beautiful pool, lush garden, and hospitality are its calling card.
Surf in tranquility
White sandy beaches and palm trees make this area an appealing surf destination. Besides the Ahangama peak, right by the resort, there are many others to choose from.
Yala National Park
A wildlife sanctuary, it's one of the most sought-after parks. There's no shortage of reasons: elephants, buffaloes, monkeys, crocodiles, leopards, and much more await you.
Plenty to do
Snorkeling, trekking, historical visits, Buddhist temples, street food,the hardest part will be choosing what to do, amidst a relaxed pace, social interaction, and good vibes.
Marshmallow Point
It's a very popular spot in the Ahangama area, also known as Insight, as it's located right in front of the hotel. It has a reef break and offers a wide variety of options for surfers.
Surf lessons
The south coast is the ideal place to learn to surf: warm water and easy waves will help you gain confidence in the water. The program includes 5 days of surf lessons.

The program includes a driver for the entire stay, so you can explore the best waves with someone who knows the region and local culture well.
