About
The archipelago's first surf resort was renovated during the pandemic and received the awards of Best Surf Resort in the Maldives and South Asia, in 2024. Its wave is world-famous - to the left of Pasta Point - and only 30 people a day can enjoy it.
Exclusive Wave
Pasta Point is a left wave, world reference, a short distance from the resort. It has a daily limit of 30 surfers and exclusive access to those who book the surf program.
Unique surf breaks
The surf program (exclusive to Takeoff for Portugal) includes unlimited surf transfers, in dhoni, to the waves of Sultans, Honkys and Jails, close to the resort.
Discovering the sea
Cinnamon Dhonveli Maldives offers other activities besides surfing, such as sport fishing, diving, snorkeling and yoga classes overlooking the ocean.
Restaurant Maakana
It is dedicated to the surf program and is named after the herons sighted on the island. It overlooks Pasta Point and buffet breakfast. Lunch and dinner “a la carte”.
The wave-queen
The Pasta Point wave is a world reference left. It is within walking distance of the resort, with exclusive access for those who opt for the surf program (daily limit of 30 surfers).

The surf program (exclusive to Takeoff Surf Travel for Portugal) includes unlimited surf transfers, in dhoni, to the waves of Sultans, Honkys and Jails, close to the resort.
