In tune with the sea. That's what this South Coast hotel offers, a five-minute walk from the main surf spot in Hikkaduwa, with great waves nearby. The South Coast is one of the best-known regions in Sri Lanka. Hikkaduwa is the most popular, but there are other spots worth considering: Kabalana, Plantation, Weligama, and Mirissa.

Plenty to do nearby

Galle is the most important city on the South Coast. From Buddhist temples like Unawatuna to elephant sanctuaries and nightlife, the area has plenty to offer.

Swastha Serene Spa

The Crab Shack

Fresh fish and seafood with mouth-watering recipes, ranging from grilled dishes to sushi. Prepare for a blend of Sri Lankan spices and the richness of the Indian Ocean in the dishes at this hotel restaurant.

Swimming with turtles

The beach in front of the hotel is known as Turtle Beach. Three giant turtles live there and frequently approach the shore. Join the adventure and swim with them, along with small reef sharks, moray eels, and sea urchins.

Turtle conservation

The Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery carries out its conservation efforts just a short walk from the hotel. Learn more about marine life and watch, for example, turtles nesting and their hatchlings racing to the sea.

Snorkeling

In Hikkaduwa and Unawatuna, there are plenty of opportunities for snorkeling among colorful reefs teeming with marine life. Perfect for beginners and underwater enthusiasts.

A menu of activities

Diving, snorkeling, whale and dolphin watching, and swimming with turtles are available to guests for an additional fee. There is also plenty to do on land: wildlife safaris, elephant and leopard sanctuaries, or exploring local heritage.

Meet
the Program

The program includes:

. Flights Lisbon-Male-Lisbon, via Abu Dhabi, with Etihad Airways, in economy class E, and with 25 kg of baggage (one suitcase and one surfboard bag);

. Airport taxes (indicative value: 410€);

. Regular shared transfer airport-resort-airport by speedboat;

. Accommodation in the selected room;

. Premium All Inclusive 24h regime;

. Lohis All Inclusive Surf Pass with unlimited access to the Lohis wave and daily surf transfers to the waves of North Male;

. Snacks and drinks included from check-out until the departure time of the transfer to the airport;

. A Sunset Cruise or Dolphin Watching (both tours included for minimum stays of 7 nights) and daily snorkeling tours;

. A fishing trip, a Cocktail Evening and a barbecue dinner;

. Use of equipment for snorkeling, canoeing, stand up paddle, windsurfing and sailing in catamaran;

. A 30-minute massage at the Chavana Spa;

. 20% discount at Chavana Spa and 10% discount on additional tours;

. Free access to the Beach Party;

The programme does not include:

. Booking fees (€20 per booking), excess baggage, gratuities and all services not mentioned in the program.

Important Notes

Adult non-surfers will be given a credit of USD 50 per night per adult. This credit can be used for resort services during the stay (Chavana Spa, Nautical Sports Center, Diving Center and catering). The daily amount is cumulative and will be deducted from the final account of the room (with reference to the amount without taxes included). The amount that is not used will not be refunded.

The programs include flights with Etihad Airways in economy class, on the E fare. When the E fare is not available, supplements will be applied according to the availability of flights.

An air fare supplement will be applied to the prices presented in July and August.

Insurances

All programs presented include “Takeoff Surf” insurance against personal accidents and travel assistance, with capitals and coverage for accidents resulting from surfing.

This is a basic travel assistance insurance with coverage and assistance only abroad. However, for the type of trip and destinations, we recommend the “Takeoff Surf VIP” insurance (optional as a supplement), with higher amounts of assistance abroad, in addition to additional coverage in case of interruption of the trip.
