About

It is located in the fishing village of Ahangama, a short distance from Galle, in an area where there is no lack of beaches and surf spots. Ahangama, Midigama and Welhengoda are close to the resort. The resort has 50 rooms, is on the beach and designed for surfing and yoga.

Surfing in tranquility

White sand beaches and palm trees make this area a desirable surfing destination. In addition to the peak of Ahangama, next to the resort, Midigama and Welhengoda stand out

The Rock

This peak, between Ahangama and Midigama, is one of the most popular, with its long and powerful left. The area has a good balance between reef breaks and beach breaks.

Marshmallow Point

This is a very popular spot in the Ahangama area, also known as Insight, as it is located right in front of the hotel. It features a reef break and offers a wide variety of options for surfers.

The program includes:

. Lisbon-Colombo-Lisbon flights, via Abu Dhabi, with Etihad Airways in economy class E, including checked baggage up to 25 kg (one suitcase and one board bag)

. Airport taxes (estimated value: €365)

. Private airport-hotel-airport transfer by minivan or similar vehicle

. Accommodation in the selected room

. Accommodation with breakfast or half-board (breakfast and dinner, drinks not included)

. Minivan (or similar vehicle) with driver available during your stay for surf transfers and regional visits between Hikkaduwa and Mirissa, up to 8 hours per day (driver schedule)

. Free Wi-Fi

. Local tourist taxes

. Takeoff Surf Travel Insurance

The program does not include:

. Booking fees (€20 per booking), Sri Lanka entry visa (to be requested online by the customer, estimated value of 50 USD per person), excess baggage, gratuities, and any services not mentioned in the program.

 

. Christmas dinner and New Year's Eve dinner (please contact us for information on these mandatory supplements)

 

. Overnight stay in Colombo, when necessary

Important Notes

The program with a driver begins the day after you arrive at the hotel and ends the day before your departure.

 

Programs include economy class flights with Etihad Airways on the E fare. If the E fare is unavailable, surcharges will apply based on flight availability.

An airfare supplement will be applied to the prices shown for July and August.

Due to constant fluctuations in the dollar-to-euro exchange rate, published prices are subject to change without notice.

Insurance

All programs include “Takeoff Surf” personal accident and travel assistance insurance, which provides coverage and benefits for accidents resulting from surfing.

However, given the nature of the trip and the destinations, we recommend our “Takeoff Surf VIP” insurance (available as an optional add-on). This offers higher coverage limits for assistance abroad, medical treatment in Portugal, and protection in the event of trip cancellation or interruption.
