With an exclusive beach where there is no shortage of cocoons, it presents itself as the world's refuge for surfers, with the waves of Pottuvil Point just 2 minutes away and the spots of Arugam Bay within walking distance. Based on sustainability, it is composed of dream cabins by the sea.

Pottuvil and much more

This fast wave, on the right, is a reference in Arugam Bay. Nearby are also Baby and Main Point and, about 20-30 minutes, you will find Whiskey Point or Peanut Farm.

Unique Cabins

Designed by architect John Balmond and inspired by the shells and sea shells. Luxury ecotourism at its best, with wooden cabins, covered by coqueiro leaves.

Pottuvil Point

It is a small big wave that bursts into the sand, right next to the beach. It is fast, straightforward and ideal for beginners. Enjoy the best of this peninsula, surrounded by lush nature.

Rustic and by the sea, these 61 m² cabins were built with sustainable materials, such as rope or wood. They are decorated in a natural way, with coqueiro leaves, inspired by the shape of sea urchins. It has a wooden deck outside and all amenities.

Meet
the Program

The program includes

. Lisbon-Colombo-Lisbon flights via Abu Dhabi with Etihad Airways in economy class E, including checked baggage up to 25 kg (one suitcase and one board bag)

. Airport taxes (estimated value: €365)

. Private airport-hotel-airport transfer by minivan or similar vehicle

. Accommodation in the selected room

. Bed and breakfast, half board (breakfast and dinner, drinks not included), or full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner, drinks not included)

. Minivan (or similar vehicle) with driver available during your stay for surf transfers and local visits, up to 8 hours per day (driver's schedule)

. Free Wi-Fi

. Takeoff Surf travel insurance

The program does not include

. Booking fees (€20 per booking), Sri Lanka entry visa (to be requested online by the customer), excess baggage, gratuities, and any services not mentioned in the program.

Important Notes

Programs include Etihad Airways flights in economy class, fare E. If fare E is unavailable, supplements will apply based on flight availability.

An airfare supplement will apply to prices for July and August.

Due to constant fluctuations in the dollar-to-euro exchange rate, published prices are subject to change without notice.

Insurance

All programs include “Takeoff Surf” personal accident and travel assistance insurance, with coverage limits specifically for surfing-related accidents.

However, depending on your trip type and destination, we recommend our “Takeoff Surf VIP” insurance (available as an optional add-on). This provides higher coverage limits for international assistance, medical treatment in Portugal, and protection against trip cancellation or interruption.
