About

Considered the fourth best resort in the world by Condé Nast magazine and the second among the best in the Indian Ocean. Stay at Dhaalu Atoll, Central Atoms, the twin islands of Play and Chill. It has exclusive access to the left of Vodi and is the only luxury resort with a wave breaking directly on the island (de Play). It has peak for various levels of surfing and no crowds in the water.

Next to the island of Play, you will find the Vodi wave, a left sought by the best surfers in the world. There are more nearby, such as the peak of Kasabu or Hocus Pocus.

Two islands, one paradise

The resort is divided by two islands, Play and Chill. In Play mode, the villas are designed for families. On the Chill side, tranquility is the watchword, ideal for couples.

Lead, and then to the resort

The Vodi wave, with direct access from Play Island, is a long left that produces power and classical waves. It is the star of the resort.

Surf transfers with tubes

Niyama arranges daily transfers to the nearby waves of the resort. 5 min, is Kasabu, and 10 min, is Hocus Pocus, both tubular rights (service not included, reserved at the resort).

Drift Spa by Niyama

Nature is well present, as are the ancestral traditions of treatment and well-being. It will be like walking on the waters to a world of relaxation, through massages, facial and body treatments, Ayurvedic and retreats in various disciplines. It has 6 treatment rooms and two sanctuaries in the garden.

Restaurant Subsix

This underwater restaurant is 500 metres from the islands, at the bottom of the sea, six metres deep. In addition to the setting, the various gastronomic moments of fine dining of Nikkei cuisine are surprising. At night, it is also the stage for exclusive parties.

Nest Restaurant

It is possible to dine by the treetops. That's what Nest offers, one of the most stunning Asian restaurants in the Maldives. You have to climb a tree and walk through a maze of wooden walkways. Then, enjoy the sashimi or teppanyaki six meters above the ground.

Street Food on the beach

Every week, one of the resort's beaches transforms into Took Took, a lively Asian street, with different gastronomic offerings, carefully prepared and grilled on charcoal by the hotel's chefs. The lighting, the spots to scream and the tables and chairs under the stars complete the experience.

Tribal Restaurant

When you combine Latin, African and Maldivian cuisines, success is guaranteed. From the fire to the flavors, the fusion is always present, in an environment where you are greeted by a Maasai warrior with a cocktail and from there you follow to the grills of crotch and ostrich, before finishing with the famous Ethiopian coffee.

Surf Shack

In the surf area on Play Island, the hotel offers a Surf Shack, a street food cart with drinks and snacks.

Snorkeling for everyone

Swimming with turtles along the coast and going on an adventure in coral gardens, with an experienced guide, are two of the options to discover with a tube and mask. Night or day.

Boat tours and fishing

Sunset cruises on a sailboat, discover the seabed in a vessel with a transparent bottom, go fishing on the high seas or by the island, with programs from one hour to a whole day.

Dolphins and turtles

You can see up close the jumps of wild dolphins in the vicinity of the resort. They are, like turtles, the short trip on a traditional boat, so that it is not an intrusive experience for the animals.

Adrenaline

The options are varied: swim with blankets and whale sharks in the South Atoll of Ari, parasailing, try flyboarding and seabob, test the balance in wakeboarding, water skiing, windsurfing, kitesurfing and funtube and breaking the laws of gravity with the jetboard.

The program includes

. Flights Lisbon-Male-Lisbon, via Abu Dhabi, with Etihad Airways, in economy class E, and with the right to hold baggage up to 25 kg (two pieces: a suitcase and a bag of plates)

. Aviation fees (indicative value: 410€)

. Regular shared transfer airport-resort-airport by seaplane, with the right to one piece of luggage up to 20 kg (it is only possible to carry bags of plates up to 7 feet and subject to availability of space)

. Accommodation in the selected room

. Half board (breakfast and dinner, no drinks included) or full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner, no drinks included)

. Daily replacement of 4 bottles of water and ice cream in the room

. Access to the Vodi wave (wave of the resort)

The program includes breakfast and dinner served in the Epicure or Blu restaurants.

If you choose to dine at Tribal, Nest or Edge restaurants, a credit of USD 70 per person (before taxes) will be credited, deducted from the final account.

Lunch is served in the Blu or Dune restaurants. If you choose to dine at the Nest restaurant, a credit of USD 55 per person (before taxes) will be credited, deducted from the final bill.

There is also the option of “Light Lunch” at The Deli or Truck Surf Shack, with the right to choose from 2 menu items.

Credit is not applicable on Destination Dining, In-Villa Dining and Subsix options.

The programs include flights with Etihad Airways in economy class, on the E fare. When the E fare is not available, supplements will be applied according to the availability of flights.

An air fare supplement will be applied to the prices presented in July and August.

Insurances

All programs presented include “Takeoff Surf” insurance against personal accidents and travel assistance, with capitals and coverage for accidents resulting from surfing.

However, taking into account the type of trip and destinations, we recommend the “Takeoff Surf VIP” insurance (available as an optional supplement), which offers higher capitals for assistance abroad, treatment in Portugal and coverage in case of cancellation or interruption of the trip.
