About

Considered the fourth best resort in the world by Condé Nast magazine and the second among the best in the Indian Ocean. Stay at Dhaalu Atoll, Central Atoms, the twin islands of Play and Chill. It has exclusive access to the left of Vodi and is the only luxury resort with a wave breaking directly on the island (de Play). It has peak for various levels of surfing and no crowds in the water.

Next to the island of Play, you will find the Vodi wave, a left sought by the best surfers in the world. There are more nearby, such as the peak of Kasabu or Hocus Pocus.

Two islands, one paradise

The resort is divided by two islands, Play and Chill. In Play mode, the villas are designed for families. On the Chill side, tranquility is the watchword, ideal for couples.

Restaurant Subsix

This underwater restaurant is six metres deep. In addition to the setting, the various gastronomic moments of fine dining of Nikkei cuisine are surprising.

Lead, and then to the resort

The Vodi wave, with direct access from Play Island, is a long left that produces power and classical waves. It is the star of the resort.

Surf transfers with tubes

Niyama arranges daily transfers to the nearby waves of the resort. 5 min, is Kasabu, and 10 min, is Hocus Pocus, both tubular rights (service not included, reserved at the resort).

Drift Spa by Niyama

Nature is ever-present here, alongside ancestral traditions of healing and wellness. Subsix Restaurant

Located 500 metres offshore and six metres below the surface, this underwater restaurant offers a truly unique setting. Beyond the breathtaking views, guests are treated to surprising fine-dining moments featuring Nikkei cuisine. By night, the space transforms into a venue for exclusive parties.

Nest Restaurant

Dine among the treetops at Nest, one of the most stunning Asian restaurants in the Maldives. After navigating a maze of wooden walkways high above the ground, you can enjoy exquisite sashimi or teppanyaki six metres up in the canopy.

Beachside Street Food

Each week, one of the resort's beaches transforms into "Took Took," a vibrant Asian street market. Enjoy a variety of dishes carefully prepared and charcoal-grilled by our chefs. The atmospheric lighting, lively stalls, and tables set under the stars complete the experience.

Tribal Restaurant

A fusion of Latin, African, and Maldivian cuisines is a recipe for success. From the open fire to the bold flavors, this dining experience begins with a cocktail greeting from a Maasai warrior, followed by grilled specialties like ostrich, and concludes with traditional Ethiopian coffee.

Surf Shack

Located in the surf area on Play Island, the Surf Shack is a street food cart serving up drinks and snacks.

Snorkeling for everyone

Swim with turtles along the coast or explore coral gardens with an experienced guide. Whether by day or night, snorkeling is the perfect way to discover the underwater world.

Boat tours and fishing

Choose from a variety of excursions, including sunset sailboat cruises, glass-bottom boat tours, or deep-sea and island fishing trips, with programs ranging from one hour to a full day.

Dolphins and turtles

Get up close to wild dolphins leaping near the resort. Like our turtle-watching trips, these excursions use traditional boats to ensure a non-intrusive experience for the animals.

Adrenaline

The options are endless: swim with manta rays and whale sharks in the South Ari Atoll, go parasailing, try flyboarding or seabobbing, test your balance with wakeboarding, water skiing, windsurfing, and kitesurfing, or defy gravity with a jetboard.

Meet
the Program

The program includes

. Flights Lisbon-Male-Lisbon, via Abu Dhabi, with Etihad Airways, in economy class E, and with the right to hold baggage up to 25 kg (two pieces: one suitcase and one surfboard bag)

. Airport taxes (indicative value: 410€)

. Regular shared transfer airport-resort-airport by seaplane, with the right to one piece of luggage up to 20 kg (it is only possible to carry surfboard bags up to 7 feet and subject to availability of space)

. Accommodation in the selected room

. Half board (breakfast and dinner, no drinks included) or full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner, no drinks included)

. Daily replacement of 4 bottles of water and ice cream in the room

. Access to the Vodi wave (wave of the resort)

. 24-hour butler service, shared between several guests

. Bikes to explore or resort

The program includes breakfast and dinner served in the Epicure or Blu restaurants.

If you choose to dine at Tribal, Nest or Edge restaurants, a credit of USD 70 per person (before taxes) will be credited, deducted from the final account.

Lunch is served in the Blu or Dune restaurants. If you choose to dine at the Nest restaurant, a credit of USD 55 per person (before taxes) will be credited, deducted from the final bill.

There is also the option of “Light Lunch” at The Deli or Truck Surf Shack, with the right to choose from 2 menu items.

Credit is not applicable on Destination Dining, In-Villa Dining and Subsix options.

The programs include flights with Etihad Airways in economy class, on the E fare. When the E fare is not available, supplements will be applied according to the availability of flights.

An air fare supplement will be applied to the prices presented in July and August.

Insurances

All programs presented include “Takeoff Surf” insurance against personal accidents and travel assistance, with capitals and coverage for accidents resulting from surfing.

However, taking into account the type of trip and destinations, we recommend the “Takeoff Surf VIP” insurance (available as an optional supplement), which offers higher capitals for assistance abroad, treatment in Portugal and coverage in case of cancellation or interruption of the trip.
